Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and All Souls Church of Seattle for this website, allsoulsseattle.org. Using the site means you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Our Privacy Policy is part of these terms.

The site is free and public. You do not need an account. Anyone may read it.

What the site is for

The site shares information about the church, including gatherings, sermons, notes, and books. That material is general information and pastoral teaching. It is not medical, mental health, legal, or financial advice.

This site does not take payment. Giving and event registration happen on Church Center, under Church Center's own terms.

Misuse

Do not misuse the site. Do not try to disrupt it, break its security, or access it in a way it is not offered.

Content

Sermons, notes, images, and other materials the church creates are owned by All Souls Church of Seattle or used with permission. You may view them and share links to them for personal, noncommercial use. Ask us before republishing them.

Scripture translations, embedded media, book listings, and pages we link to belong to their own owners. We do not grant rights in those materials.

If you believe something on the site infringes your copyright, email [email protected] and tell us what you want removed.

Books and Amazon

A book panel may link to Amazon so you can buy the book there. It may also link to Goodreads, Libby, or Audible.

Other sites

YouTube, Buzzsprout, Vimeo, the Mailchimp signup page, Church Center, and other links are separate sites. We do not control them. Their terms apply when you leave this site or when their player loads.

The site is provided as is

We do not warrant that the site will be complete, current, uninterrupted, or error-free. To the extent Washington law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage from your use of the site or from a site we link to. Washington law does not allow some limits, and those limits do not apply where the law forbids them.

Disputes

Washington law governs these terms. If we cannot resolve a dispute by email to [email protected], it will be handled in the state or federal courts in King County, Washington.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you keep the mandatory protections of the country where you live. Where those protections let you bring a claim in your home courts, this section does not take that away.

If a term cannot be enforced

If one term is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. If we do not enforce a right once, that does not waive that right.

Changes

We may change these terms by posting the new version on this page and updating the date at the top. If you keep using the site after that, you accept the update. If you do not agree, stop using the site.
