What is a Home Group?
Home Groups are smaller spaces to share life, pray, practice hospitality, and grow together.
Why Home Groups?
In a world that pushes us toward isolation, we need community. A place where we're known, loved, and belong. Home Groups are that space to learn to be at home with God and with each other. May God's welcome flow from the Lord’s Table, to our tables.
When Can I Join a Home Group?
Home Groups are open groups, and you can join at any time.
What Can I Expect From Home Group?
Each group develops its own house culture, but they tend to gather around a few simple things: food, stories, prayer, Scripture, and the ordinary stuff of life. Seasonally, groups choose from three different approaches:
- Spiritual practices — exploring a practice or a book together for a season. So far, groups have explored fasting and Sabbath.
- Prayerful listening — making space to share life updates and pray for one another and consider neighbors we can serve together
- Sermon conversations — lingering with the Scriptures and questions raised on Sunday.
And so far, every group has involved a meal. These groups are like extending the table leaves from the Lord's Table. At the heart of All Souls communal life is Communion with Jesus.
