Grace Groups

Living by God’s grace is a paradigm shift for all of us.

And as a big shift, it involves study, practice, community, and the work of the Holy Spirit within each of our lives. All Souls Grace Groups follow this common thread: learning to live by grace instead of proving ourselves all the time, or thinking that we can go it alone.

Grace Group: Work

Join conversations that explore how to live more by God’s grace in your field of work. Make new connections and deepen the connection with other All Souls people working in your field (current groups: Medicine, Tech, Education, Home Management). Contact R.J. March to join, to learn more, or to create a Grace Group at Work for your field.

Grace Group: Friendship

In John 15:15, Jesus said, "I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you." Grow in friendship with God as you do life together with a group of people in the All Souls community.

Grace Group: Marriage

Over the course of 4 sessions and 1 dinner, we hope you will join us in a discussion led by licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and All Souls member, Rachel Pelander, as we explore how to live more by God's grace in our marriages.

Session 1 Created for Connection
Session 2 Identifying and Interrupting our Negative Cycles
Session 3 Blind Spots, Raw Spots, and the Beauty of Grace
Session 4 Cultivating Connection and Revisiting a Rocky Moment
Session 5 Building on our Foundation (a dinner together)

Grace Group: Anglicanism

Learn more about the Anglincan way, which simply put, seeks to follow the way of Jesus with some characteristics that we enjoy and are seeking to explain as we lean into our new global affiliation with the Anglican Communion in the Dioceses of Churches for the Sake of Others.

1: Anglicanism: Diversity + Unity + Liturgy
Led by R.J. March

2: Anglicanism: How it Works
Led by Thad Williams

3: Anglicanism + the Bible
Led by Andy Pelander

4: Anglicanism: The Priesthood of All Believers
Led by Kara Barrett

Grace Group: Racial Justice

Explore what it means that Jesus has declared that the acceptable day of the Lord (Is 61: 1-2) had arrived in him (Lk 4:14-21). This group will take a deeper look at what scripture has to say about poverty, justice, policing, imprisonment, and righteousness with a focus on both prayer and service. Join us for a series of dinners following the worship service as we explore our own practical participation in racial justice work by the grace of God in Jesus Christ. Let us know about your interest by emailing info@allsoulsseattle.org.

Grace Group: Gender + Leadership in the Church

A biblical study on how the church shows forth God's Triune diversity and unity when men and women serve meaningfully together, bearing God's image.

Grace Group: Theology Book Club

You can study theology and become less gracious, but we seek to grow in grace and truth in the study of a wide variety of theology books. Join us.
