God comes to us in the brokenness of our health, in the shipwreck of our family lives, in the loss of all possible peace of mind, even in the very thick of our sins. He saves us in our disasters, not from them. He emphatically does not promise to meet only the odd winner of the self-improvement lottery; he meets us all in our endless and inescapable losing.
ROBERT FARRAR CAPON
In a world that pushes us toward isolation, we need community––a place where we're known and loved, and can grow.
Home groups are a vital part of shared life and growth in Christ––places of care and community where we discover and live the Christian life together.
While they provide a context to explore the Bible, ask questions, learn to pray, and serve each other, the real strength of these groups are the relationships built and experienced.
Groups can be joined by anyone at anytime, and aim to accommodate a variety of schedules, including those of families and commuters. They meet the second and fourth weeks of the month, in the following neighborhoods:
+ North Admiral Tuesdays, 7-8:30 p.m.
+ Admiral Wednesdays, 7:30-9 p.m.
+ Alaska Fridays, 6:30-8 p.m.
+ Arbor Heights Sundays, 3-4:30 p.m.
Group meeting times are also posted on the All Souls calendar. To learn more or to visit a specific group please email groups@allsoulsseattle.org.
