HOW CAN I KNOW GOD? / AN AFFILIATE OF GRACE SEATTLE
Jesus came in the flesh not to bring the judgment, but to bear it.
EDMUND CLOWNEY
All Souls is a brand new community. A sapling, really.
We’re a new and mixed group of folks, gathered from all over the social and spiritual map, of all ages and professions––some new to Seattle, some native to the area. Some are grandparents, many are in diapers.
Some are skeptical or curious about Christianity, some are taking steps toward faith for the first time (ever, or in a long time), and others are committed followers of Jesus, resting more and more in God’s grace.
In other words, all are welcome, and welcomed to be in process.
We are not yet formally meeting for Sunday worship, as we are still in the beginning stages––building relationships, growing vision, imagining together what God will continue to do within this rapidly expanding body as the All Souls story unfolds.
For the time being, until public services start, we are gathering informally, and constantly welcoming newcomers to join us for parties, meals, exploring the Christian faith, book discussions, and prayer. Additionally, impromptu gatherings at West Seattle playgrounds, restaurants, and watering holes happen frequently.
This summer we are meeting on Sunday evenings for backyard meals. We call it Sunday Supper, and it’s a casual time to share good food and drinks (every other Sunday at 5 p.m.). All are welcome. View calendar for more info.
We’re also doing Playtime in the Park, Pint Night, and Book Club (June-July). Click on the image at right to view a printable (and email-able) PDF with additional upcoming gatherings listed. Please contact us with questions or for directions and further details. Thank you.
