All Souls is a church for Seattle, in West Seattle. In the city, for the city. It’s a worshipping community comprised of people who live in the city, seeking to serve and pursue the well being of the city, not use the city.
We are a local body, working and serving and playing where we live...
Fixtures in the neighborhood––familiar faces at the farmers' market, the beach, the places with the best kids’ happy hours, the deli with the ice cream, that beverage place, that breakfast spot with the rotating menu, the cafe in the record store, and the park with the zip line.
The follower of Jesus is called to cultivate a) a love for the place God is calling her, and b) a conviction that the local community has much to teach her. We must love the community and what we envision God doing there––renewing, healing, transforming––by means of the gospel.

+ What would a church look like that loves and is for Seattle?
+ Are things as they should be in West Seattle? Why or why not?
